The dream of Mommies Matter lived in the heart of its founding director for nearly two decades before it’s official inception. Countless hours spent answering calls on a crisis pregnancy hotline lead to an unshakeable conviction that though the pro-life community did much to provide women with options at the time of an unplanned pregnancy, it offered very few opportunities for the extensive accompaniment and mentorship for single mothers once they have made the brave choice for life and against abortion.
In 2018, Mommies Matter began offering extensive support services to pregnancy centers in Columbus, Ohio.

Mommies Matter still works closely today with local pregnancy centers, hospitals, and other social service organizations, bringing an extended array of services unique to the single mothers she serves.
Mommies Matter is a pro-love community that seeks to build authentic relationships with pregnant, single mothers and to journey alongside them in their quests for restoration and wholeness.
Simply put, “Doing Life Together” is the mission of Mommies Matter. Mommies Matter is “WE”.
