Deeply passionate about single mothers and their children, Monica Flynn has been actively involved in the Pro-Life movement for 25 years. Founder and CEO of Mommies Matter, Monica’s determination to do more for women who choose life stemmed from her 15+ years of volunteer work as a hotline consultant for a pregnancy health center. Monica graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a major in Mechanical Engineering. She served our country as a United States Air Force officer stationed at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Monica was a worthy recipient of the 2019 Mother Teresa Award of Charity, Compassion, and Service, sponsored by the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. Monica is fluent in American Sign Language. Monica and her husband Kevin have been blessed with a 36-year marriage, five children and ten grandchildren. They currently reside in Galena, OH, after enjoying 20 years in Westerville as parishioners at St. Paul, and are now active parishioners at St John Neumann in Sunbury. 

 Kelly began volunteering with Mommies Matter in 2019 and is excited to be a part of such an important organization.  Kelly currently lives in Galena and attends St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Sunbury, OH.  She is married to her husband, Keith, and they have three children and numerous pets.  Kelly attended Miami University and graduated with degrees in both International Studies and German.  She enjoys spending time with her family and also loves outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and kayaking. 

  Kendra grew up in Loveland, Ohio and moved to Columbus to attend Ohio State University where she earned her BSN. She is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have 4 children. Recently the family has grown with the addition of a son-in-law and a granddaughter. They currently reside in Delaware, Ohio and attend St. Mary Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and growing in her faith life. She loves sharing in the joys and sorrows of motherhood with the women of Mommies Matter and feels blessed to be a part of their lives. 

Marie was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Columbus for a corporate job after graduating from the University of Redlands. She holds degrees in both Business Administration and Economics. Marie joined Mommies Matter as a volunteer in 2021 and has loved being involved ever since. She and her husband reside in Sunbury, OH with their dog and a little one on the way, and are active parishioners at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. In her spare time, Marie enjoys reading, traveling, laughter, and adventure. 

Meredith received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Illinois in 2003, and is currently a Nationally Board Certified Counselor and Nationally Board Certified Coach. With experience working with survivors of trauma, Meredith is skilled in empathizing and understanding one’s past and utilizing it as a frame of reference for moving forward. She is committed to fostering a healthy, thriving, meaningful life. Meredith has been married for 25 years to her high school sweetheart and has two beautiful children. She loves spending time with them as a family, loves Jesus, prefers warm sunny weather, and loves finding joy and laughter in the everyday. 

Erin is a licensed Financial Advisor dedicated to empowering mothers with financial confidence and control. While working at Pregnancy Decision Health Centers (PDHC), she connected with Monica and Gina, whose mission to support mothers inspired her. As a pregnant, divorced single mom of three, Erin refused to become a statistic. She returned to school, mastered personal finance, and built a successful career helping families secure their futures. Now established in her practice, Erin joined Mommies Matter, where she now educates moms on financial literacy. She hopes to help moms with the kindness and empathy so many showed her in her time of uncertainty. Remarried, Erin lives in Delaware County, with her husband and their blended family of six children. The family attends St. John Neumann Church and enjoys outdoor activities and kids’ sports. Drawing from her own journey, Erin hopes to help other mothers build stronger, more secure futures.
