Symbols are important and quickly communicate concepts and ideas. Mommies Matter takes great pride in our logo as it portrays elements that are central to our work and ministry.

Do you see hands, a dove, or an anchor holding, lifting up, supporting the pregnant mother?

HANDS
The hands are holding, lifting, and supporting the pregnant mother, portraying the message that she is not alone and is being upheld by a loving, present community.

DOVE
In Christian tradition, the dove has been a symbol of the Holy Spirit for ages. The image of a dove is also known to portray messages of peace, femininity, and hope.

ANCHOR
The anchor represents stability, foundation, safety, and connection. Over time, it was only natural that the anchor became a symbol of love. Also depicted as a symbol of fidelity, the anchor is firmly planted into the bottom of the ocean floor and provides the ship with unwavering stability. The anchor is used to signify a fresh start and hope as referenced in Hebrews 6:19: "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil."
