Vista Village is Columbus’s first tiny home, transitional living program with a clear purpose:
To guide those experiencing homelessness toward a life of stability and self-sufficiency.
Phase I: Building a Better Future
PHASE I of Vista Village features 41 tiny homes, a spacious 4,000 square foot community center, a vibrant community garden, a serene park, and ample green space, all in a secure, gated setting.
By providing safe and stable housing along with a comprehensive range of supportive services, they empower residents to transition from homelessness to economic independence and self-sufficiency, fostering a sense of hope, dignity, and long-term well-being.
PHASE II: Where Mommies Matter Comes In!
In 2027, Vista Villa will break ground on Phase II of their community, which will include a community center and 60 more tiny homes – Most of which will be for single mothers!
Mommies Matter's goal is to raise funds to sponsor houses within the Vista Village community – Houses that will be designated specifically for the Mommies we support.
Up to now, Mommies Matter has only been able to help our Mommies' housing needs through rental assistance. By partnering with Vista Village, we aim to provide one more layer of support for our Mommies, by further enriching their lives through a supportive community with safe, reliable housing.
The cost of sponsoring a house is $125,000.
